Router project update – Frame done

I have now completely built a new frame for my router. The frame size is 1200x500x600 and I am hoping to be able to have usable area for cutting around 1000×400.

Interesting open source CAD/CAM software

I have not used it much but it looks really promising. The Heeks CAD/CAM open source software. This is what hobbyist need. At least those who are looking for less expensive or free solutions compered to high end CAD/CAM software that cost about 10.000$. Here are some screenshot taken from theĀ  Heeks webpage.
